This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected through the INSIDE-ACT website.
INSIDE-ACT is a European project developing immersive storytelling education, XR communication skills and the Immersive Storytelling Designer profile.
1. What personal data we collect
When users choose to join the INSIDE-ACT Learning Platform waitlist, we collect only an email address. We do not intentionally collect any additional personal data through the waitlist form.
2. Why we collect this data
We collect email addresses only to notify users when the INSIDE-ACT Learning Platform is launched. The email address will not be used for unrelated marketing communication.
3. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing the email address is the user’s consent.
Consent is given when the user submits the waitlist form and confirms that they agree to the processing of their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
4. How long we keep the data
Email addresses collected through the waitlist form will be stored until the launch of the INSIDE-ACT Learning Platform and, in any case, no longer than 31 December 2028, corresponding to the end of the project period, unless the user withdraws consent earlier.
If consent is withdrawn, the email address will be removed from the waitlist.
Data should be kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and organisations should define time limits for deletion or review.
5. Where the data is stored
Email addresses submitted through the waitlist form will be stored in the website content management system and/or the website server database.
Access to the collected email addresses will be limited to authorised persons involved in the technical administration of the website and the management of the INSIDE-ACT Learning Platform waitlist.
6. Website statistics and analytics
The INSIDE-ACT website may collect general, aggregated website statistics, such as:
- number of website visits;
- number of waitlist sign-ups;
- general website usage statistics related to the website and Learning Platform launch.
These statistics are used to understand general website performance, project communication reach and user interest in the Learning Platform.
The website does not use this information to identify individual users or track the behaviour of specific users.
If cookie-based analytics tools or third-party tracking tools are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and, where required, users will be asked for consent.
7. Who can access the data
Access to waitlist email addresses may be granted only to authorised representatives of:
- Centro Sperimentale del Mobile e dell’Arredo
- Gluk Media, UAB
- technical service providers responsible for website hosting, maintenance or database administration
Such access is limited to what is necessary for managing the website and the Learning Platform waitlist.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Email addresses collected through the waitlist form will not be shared with third parties for unrelated marketing purposes.
Personal data may be processed by technical service providers that support the hosting, maintenance or operation of the website. These providers may process data only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
9. User rights
Under applicable data protection rules, users may have the right to:
- access their personal data;
-request correction of inaccurate data;

-object to certain types of processing;
-request restriction of processing;
-request data portability, where applicable;

10. Withdrawal of consent

After consent is withdrawn, the user’s email address will be removed from the waitlist.
The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
11. Updates to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated during the project, especially if the website introduces new functionalities, new analytics tools, additional forms or new data processing activities.
The latest version of the Privacy Policy will always be available on the INSIDE-ACT website.
